In Pure Delight, a luminous orchid unfurls against a rich, radiant backdrop—a symphony of crimson, rose, and glowing coral hues that saturate the canvas with warmth and energy. Crafted through a layered process of collage and mixed media, this piece captures the elegance and serenity of orchid blooms, their soft white petals glowing with delicate texture and intricate detail.
Long associated with beauty, love, and refinement, orchids are symbols of grace and rare, exquisite joy. The bold leaves, rendered in earthy greens and ochres, anchor the composition, while subtle marks and gestural lines hint at movement and life.
There is both stillness and celebration here. Pure Delight evokes the quiet awe one feels in the presence of something precious, tender, and alive—an everyday miracle blooming in the soft light of appreciation.
